Synecology is the study of relationship between communities and environment. Autecology is known as ecology of individuals, where we study the relation of individual species to its environment. Ecology deals with various principles, which govern the relationship between organisms and their environment. IG. Hilaire (1859) proposed the term ethology for the study of relations of the organisms within the family and society in the aggregate and in the community.
