Solution:

Stratification involves vertical changes within the community. Stratification in a forest community (especially tropical forests) is most complicated where as many as five vertical sub divisions may be recognized i.e., Subterranean, subdivision, forest floor, herbaceous vegetation, shrubs and trees.
