Solution:
Opening of Stomata Closing of stomata Increase in turgidity of guard cell cause opening of stomata. Due to loss of water from guard cell, the guard cell become flaccid and cause closing of stomata. Rise in temperature cause stomatal opening. Fall in temperature cause stomatal closing. Cytokinins are required for keeping the stomata open. Abscisic acid brings about the closing of stomata.
