Vegetative propagules are the plant parts or organs that are involved in the process of reproduction even though their primary function is not it. The reproductive process is called as vegetative propagation as the non-reproductive parts/organs (leaf/stem/roots) are involved.
Stolon is a slender lateral branch that arises from the base of main axis. It is a modified sub-aerial stem observed in jasmine, strawberry. Initially, stolon grows upwards and then bends down and touches the soil where its terminal end gives rise to a new shoot and roots.
