Q. Statement I The flux can be altered by changing the shape of a coil in a magnetic field or rotating coil in a magnetic field such that the angle $\theta$ between $B$ and $A$ changes.
Statement II By changing the shape of a coil or the angle $\theta$ between $B$ and $A$, an emf is induced in the coil.

Electromagnetic Induction

Solution:

If $B=0$, then $\phi=B \cdot A=0$.
If $\phi=0$, then $\phi=B \cdot A=0 . B$ may or may not be zero because angle between $B$ and $A$ may be $90^{\circ} . B A \cos \theta=0$ for $\theta=90^{\circ}$.
