Q. Statement I If $A=$ set of prime numbers less than 6 and $B=$ set of prime factors of 30 , then $A=B$.
Statement II If $P=\{1,2,3\}$ and $Q=\{2,2,1,3,3\}$, then $P$ and $Q$ are not equal.

Sets

Solution:

$A=\{2,3,5\}$
Factors of 30 are 1, 2, 3, 5, 6, 10, 15 and 30 .
So,
$B=\{2,3,5\}$
$\therefore A=B$
Hence, Statement I is true.
We know that, a set does not change, if one or more elements of the set are repeated.
Hence, $P$ and $Q$ are equal.
