Q. Simultaneously, from the top of a tower, when ball-$1$ is thrown horizontally and ball-$2$ is just dropped, in the absence of air resistance which among the following options is correct?

Solution:

When ball- $1$ drops from the top of a tower horizontally and at the same time, ball- $2$ is dropped vertically downward from the tower, then both balls will move under the effect of same value of gravitational acceleration $g$. Therefore, both balls will reach at the same time on the ground.
