Enzyme RNA polymerase is responsible for transcription. Transcriptio is the transfer of genetic information from DNA to m-RNA. RNA polymerase can be represented by sigma factor. Sigma factor help in recognition of the start signal on DNA molecule and directs RNA polymerase in selecting initiation sites.
