Solution:

In Euphorbia, the stem becomes fleshy green and cylindrical and carries out photosynthesis. Such stem is called phylloclade. Pistia and Eichhornia are aquatic plants, in which stem is one and two-internode long and bears tuff of roots and bunches of leaves at nodes.
