Aestivation is the mode of arrangement of sepals or petals in floralbud with respect to the other members of the same whorl. There are four main types of aestivation, Valvate- Calotropis, Twisted - China rose, ladyfinger, cotton, Imbricate - Cassia and Gulmohar, Vexillary - Pea, Bean.
