Segregation of Mendelian factor (Aa) occurs during Anaphase I. The paired homologous chromosomes separate during anaphase I, in meiosis I, so that each gamete receives only one chromosome of each homologous pair. This disjunction of chromosomal pairs leads to the segregation of Mendelian factors present on them.
