Solution:
Secondary cell wall grows by apposition. In this method new cell wall material secreted by protoplasm is deposited as definite thin plates one after the other on the inner surface of original wall. The secondary wall may be considered as a supplementary wall whose principal function is mechanical. The secondary wall is laid down over the primary wall except over the pit membrane. Deamination is the removal of amine group $ (-NH_{2}) $ from the molecule in the presence of enzyme.
