Solution:

Salmon are fresh water and marine fishes found in temperate and arctic zones of Northern hemisphere. Many species of Salmon are anadromous which lay their eggs in fresh water and the young migrate to salt water for further development and fish return to fresh water to breed after they reach maturity. The Catadromous fishes lay their eggs in marine water and the young migrate to fresh water for maturation e.g., Anguilla.
