Q. Sal and teak is the dominant species in which of the following forests?

Solution:

The tropical dry deciduous forest biomes develop in the region where moisture relation are intermediate between desert and savanna.
These are found in South-East Asia, Central and South America, India and Northern Australia.
Teak and sal are major large tree. In temperate deciduous forest the predominant genera are maple, beach, oak, chestnut, cotton-wood, elm and willow.
In temperate rain forest the major trees are red wood (Sequia), Eucalyptus and epiphytes.
