Solution:

Let $F_1 = F_2 = x $ Here, resultant, R = 14.14 unit and $\theta$ = 90$^\circ$ $R^2 = F^2 + F^2 = 2F^2 $ i.e. R =$ \sqrt{2x^2}$ i.e. 14.14 = $\sqrt{2x^2}$ or $x = \frac{14.14}{\sqrt{2}} = \frac{14.14}{1.414}$ = 10 unit since $F_1 = F_2 = $ 10 unit.
