Q. Respiration in adult frog is

Solution:

The adult' frog respires in three manners:
(i) cutaneous respiration through skin
(ii) buccophaiyngeal respiration through buccopharyngeal , cavity which occurs when animal is on the land or partially immersed in water
(iii) pulmonary respiration through lungs which is less frequent and occurs only when need for oxygen is increased.
