Cell division consists of nuclear division and cytoplasmic division. Karyokinesis is the stage of nuclear division and divided into four stages, prophase, metaphase, anaphase and telophase. Interphase is a stage prior to karyokinesis. It has three phase $ {{G}_{1,}}S,{{G}_{2}}. $ Replication of centriole occurs during $ {{\text{G}}_{\text{1}}}\text{-} $ phase of interphase. DNA replication takes place in S-phase of inter phase.
