Solution:

According to gas equation $P V=R T$
Kinetic energy of gas $E=\frac{3}{2} R T$
$\therefore P V=\frac{2}{3} E$
$V =1 $
$ \therefore P =\frac{2}{3} E $
$\Rightarrow E=\frac{3}{2} P $
