At high temperature, $RuBisCO$ functions as oxygenase and instead of fixing $CO_{2}$, oxidises $RuBP$ to produce a $3-C $ phosphoglyceric acid and a $2-C$ phosphoglycolate. This is the first reaction of photorespiration or $C_{2}$ cycle.
