How many of the above statements are incorrect?

Solution:

A is the correct statement (The innermost of these wall layers surrounding the microsporangium is the layer of the tapetum), and B, C, D statements are wrong (tapetum possess dense cytoplasm and generally has more than one nucleus). The microsporangium or pollen sac is surrounded by 3-5 wall layers. A typical angiosperm anther is bilobed with each lobe having two theca (i.e., they are dithecous).
