Q. Ratio of volume occupied by a gas $H _2$ of mass $22 \,gm$ at two different pressure $p$ and $2 p$ if temperature remains constant is

Kinetic Theory

Solution:

Boyle's Law states $P \propto \frac{1}{V}$ for constant $T$.
So, $\frac{V_1}{V_2}=\frac{P_2}{P_1}=\frac{2 P}{P}=2: 1$
