JIPMERJIPMER 1997

Solution:

The radius of an atom of any element is of the order of $ {{10}^{-10}} $ metre and that of a nucleus is of the order of 1 metre (1 fermi). Hence, the ratio of radius of atom to that of nucleus $ =\frac{{{10}^{-10}}}{{{10}^{-15}}}={{10}^{5}}. $
