In a YDSE setup the light intensity on screen due to any slit is directly proportional to its slit width, so we use As Intensity $\propto$ slit width
$\frac{I_{1}}{I_{2}}=\frac{4}{1}$
$\Rightarrow \frac{a_{1}}{a_{2}}=\sqrt{\frac{I_{1}}{I_{2}}}=2$
