Both trypsin and chymonypsin split protein molecule into small polypepdde; carboxypolypeptidase then cleaves individual amino acids from the carboxyl ends of the polypeprides.
Proelastase, in turn, is converted into elastase, which then digests elastin fibres that partially hold meets together.
