Solution:

Prokaryotic cells do not have true nucleus which is the characteristic feature of eukaryotic cell. The genetic system of prokaryotic cell have nucleoid, made of naked (without histone protein) & folded DNA which lies freely in the cytoplasm or in contact with a membranous structure called mesosome.
