Solution:

Polytene chromosomes were discovered by Balbiani (1881) in salivary glands of Chironomus tantans and later in many insect larvae including Drosophila. Lampbrush chromosomes occur in oocytes. They are large sized dipiotene chromosome bivalenrs. A Lampbrush chromosome is made of two homoloogo. chromosomes held at several places by chiasmaa. Green elands are found in aquatic arthropods which takes part in excretion.
