Q. Physiological heterospory is seen in :

Solution:

Heterospory is the phenomenon of production of two different types of spores i.e., smaller microspore and larger megaspore. In eridophytes heterospory is found in Selaginella, Isoeces, Marsilea, Salvinia, Azolla. Chlamydomonas is a green alga and reproduces asexually by zoospores, aplanospores, ypnospores. palmella stage while sexually by sogamous, anisogamous and oogamous methods. Rhiznpus is a saprophytic fungus. Here asexual reproduction takes place by formation of spores inside a sporangium. While sexual reproduction takes place by formation of two multinucleate aplanogametangia.
