Barriers important that prevent microbes to enter are: Physiological barriers, Chemical barriers and cellular barriers. These are anatomical barriers. These form the important first line of defense. These provide innate immunity. These include Saliva, tears, gastric juice, trypsin, sebum, lactoferrin etc.
