$O _{3}$ (Ozone) works as oxidising agent. It reacts with potassium iodide ( $KI$ ) solution and liberate iodine vapours that turns starch paper blue.

$\frac{2 KI + H _{2} O + O \rightarrow 2 KOH + I _{2}}{2 KI + H _{2} O + O \rightarrow 2 KOH + I _{2}}$
