Solution:

Oxyntic cells or parietal cells are large and rounded cells located upon the surface of gastric gland and secrete $HCl$ and $CIF$ (Castle's Intrinsic factor). This $HCl$ gives the gastric fluids, a $pH$ of about $2.0$.
