Q. One cubic centimeter iron weight $12.5 \mathrm{gm}$. Then solid piece of iron whose dimensions are $35 \mathrm{~cm} \times 25 \mathrm{~cm} \times 20 \mathrm{~cm}$ will weigh

Solution:

$\mathrm{Vol} =l \times b \times h$
$ =35 \times 25 \times 20$
$ =17500 \mathrm{~cm}^3$
$ 1 \mathrm{~cm}^3=12.5 \mathrm{gm}$
$\therefore 17500 \times 12.5=218.75 \mathrm{~kg}$
