Solution:

The Wein’s law states that the temperature $( T )\propto \frac{1}{\lambda_{m}}$.
Therefore on increasing the temperature, the wavelength will decrease. Since the yellow colour is of lower minimum wavelength, therefore colour of substance becomes yellow.
