Q. On heating one end of a rod, the temperature of the whole rod will be uniform when

Thermal Properties of Matter

Solution:

$ H=\frac{K A \Delta T}{\Delta x}$
Temperature is uniform means, $\Delta T=0$
$\Rightarrow \left(\frac{\Delta T}{\Delta x}\right)=\frac{H}{K A}=0$
if $K=\infty$
