Label E - Tapetum - the innermost wall of the anther and it is the nutritive layer nourishing the developing pollen grains.
Label D - Microspore mother cell- It has the potential to form microspore via microsporogenesis.
Label C - Middle layer - Present between tapetum and endothecium, function of protection and support in dehiscence.
Label B - Endothecium - inner to epidermis, function of protection and support in dehiscence.
Label A - Epidermis - outermost layer, protective in function.
