Solution:

Recent developments have shown that nuclear membrane is derived from rough endoplasmic reticulum. During cell division, nuclear membrane is disintegrated. The nuclear envelope transmembranc proteins are absorbed in the RER. Once the division is completed, RER reassembles the nuclear envelope.
