Q.
Normally DNA molecule has $A-T, G-C$ pairing. However, these bases can exist in alternative valency status, owing to rearrangement called?

Solution:
In a normal DNA molecule the adenine is linked to thymine by two hydrogen bonds.
But sometimes due to copy error, these bases rarely exist in alternate state called tautomers.
It is not stable at next replication, tautomeric returns to commons state.
Frame-shift mutation is produced by deletion or addition of bases that are not in multiples of three, as a result, reading frame changes down stream of the site of addition or deletion.
Point mutation is the mutation in a genes due to a change in a single base pair.
