Q. Non-living objects show

NTA AbhyasNTA Abhyas 2020

Solution:

Living organisms show the ability to grow internally (intussusception), increase in mass and number of individuals, reproduce, sense environment (respond to the external environment), a proper cellular organisation, metabolism, self-organise, interact and emergence.
However, some non-living objects can increase in size with the addition of similar materials to their outer surface example: mountains, crystals, stones, boulders etc. This process is called accretion.
