Solution:

: Nitrogen can be estimated by Kjeldahls method. This method cannot be used for organic compounds (i) containing in the ring. e.g., pyridine, quinoline etc. (ii) containing nitro and diazo groups. However, Lassaignes test is used to detect nitrogen.
