Mycorrhiza is a mutualistic (symbiotic) interaction in which a fungus (e.g., Boletus) and a root of higher plant (e.g., Pinus) are involved. Root provide food and shelter to the fungus and fungus helps the plant in solubilization and absorption of minerals.
