Solution:

Housefly contains sponging (sucking and laping) type of mouth parts. The mandible are absent, first pair of maxillae are reduced and the second pair of maxillae form a grooved labium having three parts labellum, haustallum and rostrum or proboscis. Siphoning type of mouth parts occur in butter-flies and moths. Biting and chewing type of mouth parts occurs in cockroach and grasshopper. The mandibles are toothed and are used for crushing food. Mosquitoes and bugs have piercing and sucking type of mouth parts. Mandibles, first pair of maxillae and hypopharynx are needle like and take part in piercing.
