Mouth part of bugs & mosquitoes is sucking & piercing type. In this type of mouth parts, mandibles, first pair of maxillae & hypopharynx are needle like & take part in piercing & sucking tube.
Sponging (sucking & lapping) & biting and chewing types of mouth parts are found in housefly & cockroach respectively
