Q. Microtubules are absent in

AIIMSAIIMS 2010

Solution:

Microtubules are present only in eukaryotes; and are a component of their cilia and flagella as well as spindle (during cell division). They are straight, hollow rods measuring about $25\, nm$ in diameter and form $200\, nm$ to $25\, \mu m$ in length. Microtubules give the shape and support to the cell.
