Q. Linear momentum and angular momentum have the same dimensions in

Physical World, Units and Measurements

Solution:

[Linear momentum] $=[$ mass $\times$ velocity]
$=\left[ MLT ^{-1}\right]$
[Angular momentum] = [Moment of Inertia $\times$ Angular velocity] $=\left[ ML ^{2}\right]\left[ T ^{-1}\right]=\left[ ML ^{2} T ^{-1}\right]$
The dimensions of mass and time are same for linear momentum and angular momentum.
