Solution:

$ \lim_{x \to k} (x- [x]) $ does not exist
$ \lim_{x \to k-}x- [x] = k -[k-] =k - (k-1) = 1$
$ \lim_{x \to k+}x- [x] = k -[k+] = k- k =0$
