Q. Ligulate leaves are found in

AMUAMU 2000

Solution:

An outgrowth called ligule is present between the lamina and its leafbase or petiole. It is quite common in grasses of family-Poaceae.
The leaves in family-Asteraceae are alternate or opposite (Dahlia), rarely whorled, exstipulate and often forming a basal rosette (Bellis and Taraxacum).
