Solution:

The image of $P(4,1)$ on the line $y=x$ is $ Q$.
So, the coordinates of $Q$ are $(1,4)$.
The image of $Q( 1 , 4)$ in the mirror $y=-2$, i.e.
$X$ -axis is $(1,2)$. So, the coordinates of $R$ are $(1,2)$.
