Solution:

Number of red lines $={ }^{ n } C _{2}- n$
Number of blue lines $= n$
Hence, ${ }^{ n } C _{2}- n = n$
${ }^{ n } C _{2}=2 n$
$\frac{ n ( n -1)}{2}=2 n$
$n -1=4 $
$\Rightarrow n =5$
