Q. Joule second is the unit of

AMUAMU 2004

Solution:

Angular momentum of a body about an axis of rotation is given by
$J=I \omega$
where $I$ is moment of inertia, $\omega$ the angular velocity.
The SI unit of angular momentum is $kg\, m ^{2} s ^{-1}$ or Joule-second.
While momentum $p=m v$ has unit $kg\, ms ^{-1}$, work has unit of Joule and pressure has unit dyne.
