Iodoform test can be given by methyl ketones and alcohols of the type $R - CH ( OH ) CH _3$ where R can be hydrogen also. So, isobutyl alcohol $\left[\left( CH _3\right)_2 CHCH _2 OH \right]$ doesn't show the iodoform test.
