Intercalated disc are zig-zag junctions occur in between two cells of cardiac muscle cells. They are actually modified cell membranes that separate individual cardiac muscle cells. Muscles of legs are skeleton muscles. They are cylindrical, unbranched and very long fibres with blunt ends and alternate transverse light and dark bands. Vertebrae is the individual bones of vertebral column or back bone. Pubic symphysis is the non-movable junction formed between two pubic bones.
